I enjoyed the labyrinth and being able to use the yoga and meditation rooms. The Tai Chi in the morning was another way to explore the energy in our bodies. The food was exceptional. | |
“The Fine Art of Communication”, presented by Jitka Malec,. was a learning experience on listening, actually slowing down to really listen and give our full attention to what is being said, verbally and nonverbally.
All the fun we had learning and sharing with our fellow TTers was so valuable to our TT practice and our lives.
Thanks to Pat Tamosetis and Gail Lafortune for organizing this retreat. I hope they continue to provide opportunities like this for many years to come! Thank you for hosting such a lovely retreat. It was evident that you and Gail put a lot of thought and hard work into this retreat. The Marguerite Centre provided an excellent haven in which to spend some time. Every room in the Centre provided quiet and solitude. The food was a treat to the senses. Jitka was a gift. She represented mindfulness every time she spoke. I had conversations with many like minded TTer’s.
| | | Another highlight was drumming with everybody as the Super Moon appeared. Jean Brereton (right), with her helper Anne Davies (left) with her drums - wow! Saturday night drumming was a powerful experience. The drumming was so energizing. I really liked the "moonlight drumming" at the end to quiet us down before retiring for the night. | | |
