May 6-12, 2021
Therapeutic Touch Awareness Week (TTAW) is a province-wide initiative to promote awareness of Therapeutic Touch®, celebrate and strengthen our involvement in our communities, and develop new community connections.
We managed to have an amazing TTAW 2020 in spite of COVID19.
Our members rose to the challenge of expanding their vision of what Therapeutic Touch Awareness Week 2020 might be. Using social media, Zoom and Facebook Live we were able to reach people we've never reached before. Many of our new partners are people who can make a difference; doctors, nurses, hospice staff, and LTC staff. We embraced distant Therapeutic Touch providing TT from our homes to people and facilities who gave us incredible, heartwarming feedback.
It's not too early to start thinking about TTAW 2021!
Check out the PowerPoint presented at the 2019 Congress summarizing TTAW over the last three years.
