Pranita Murphy, (BA Honours in Human Services, Chair Massage Practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher), has been a Therapeutic Touch® Practitioner since 2012 and continues to engage in professional development opportunities as they arise. She works as the Wellness Services Coordinator at the Dorothy Ley Hospice where she is involved with coordinating the delivery of complementary therapies, including Therapeutic Touch® to hospice clients. Supporting the hospice volunteers is part of her role that includes offering ongoing Branch meetings, training and mentoring opportunities for Therapeutic Touch® Practitioners. Pranita had the opportunity to work at the TTNO as the Office Manager for a brief period before she moved to the hospice, where Therapeutic Touch® is offered to individuals living with a life-limiting illness, their caregivers and those who are bereaved.
