Nancy Hall, RN (retired), BScN, has over 30 years experience as a Therapeutic Touch practitioner and has been a recognized Therapeutic Touch teacher for almost 25 years. Nancy incorporated Therapeutic Touch into her hospice palliative care practice in both community nursing and as a nurse at Bethell House, a residential hospice in Inglewood. As part of the planning team for the opening of Bethell Hospice, Nancy ensured the integration of Therapeutic Touch and other complementary therapies as a component of the holistic approach to care of residents and families. Currently Nancy teaches Therapeutic Touch to staff and volunteers in the hospice palliative care sector. She is also a strong advocate for Therapeutic Touch to be learned by everyone for self-care and care of family.
