Valerie Morrell took her first class in Therapeutic Touch® in 2002. She completed her Recognized Practitioner, then became a fully Recognized Teacher by 2013. She volunteers with Hospice Wellington providing Therapeutic Touch to staff and residents. She is also a volunteer with the Guelph General Hospital Chemotherapy Clinic Therapeutic Touch Team. She is coordinator of the Prayer Shawl Ministry at Trinity United Church, and co leads the Therapeutic Touch closed Practice group. This group offers Therapeutic Touch to parishioners and their friends’ pre and post surgery, and the many needs that call for treatments.
