Integrating Therapeutic Touch^® into Hospice Palliative Care

This weekend is intended for anyone. During the weekend, Nancy will help us enhance our comfort and awareness of palliative care and offer tools for coping with grief.

We are invited to release any preconceived notions we may have regarding hospice palliative care.  Using self-reflection, dialogue, and experiential exercises we will explore the Therapeutic Touch^® concepts of presence, compassion, wholeness as we meet clients and their families wherever they may be in the trajectory of their illness, whether recently diagnosed, receiving active treatment, in remission, approaching death or grieving a death.  Therapeutic Touch is an integral element of the approach to care for best outcomes in this journey into wholeness.

Loss is one factor of life. We all experience many types of loss every day and throughout our lifetime.  Grief is how loss manifests in our minds and bodies. We will share some rituals and practices to keep grief moving throughout our energetic bodies.

We will all come into contact with someone who is ill, palliative, or has died.  We will all experience grief.  There is so much to know and learn.  Now, sharing with our amazing TT community, what could be better?

This workshop is approved by the TTNO for achieving and maintaining RP status.
