Friday, April 17 of this year at the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario AGM, the Complementary Therapies Nurses’ Interest Group (CTNIG) had a Therapeutic Touch poster included in their display in the Exhibit Hall.  Hundreds of nurses including nursing students, hospital nurses, community nurses, educators and administrators attended. Therapeutic Touch Network of Ontario (TTNO) members Darka Neill (CTNIG Consulting Editor) and Kim Watson (CTNIG president ) were present to provide information about Therapeutic Touch (TT) and offer sessions. Complementary Therapies Where Are We Today with Practice and Research? The Windsor-Essex RNAO chapter held their Complemetary Therapies day April 4, 5:30-9:00pm at Hospice of Windsor-Essex County. Members of the Wiarton Practice Groups were again busy at the Owen Sound Health Fair Saturday, March 21. They offered mini sessions non-stop from 10 am to 3:00pm. A display was set up and were questions answered throughout the day. What seemed to impress the people looking on, was that some folks actually slept, even in the room’s fairly noisy environment, following treatment.
