Spiritually Transformative Experiences”, a term she coined in 1994.

According to Dr. Kason, “spiritual transformative experiences (STE) is an umbrella term that encompasses mystical experiences of many types, including near death experiences, kundalini /spiritual energy awakenings, psychic or intuitive experiences, other death related STE’s and inspired creativity.

Workshop A:  Nov 2nd
Transformational Self Care
Facilitator: Diane May RT, QTTT

A shift in consciousness can occur in a variety of ways. Most practitioners have had mystical experiences during their TT sessions and these are often triggered by specific internal states. Centeredness and intention play a large part. We will explore the various methods of centering--sound, breath, kinesthetic, meditation, maximizing conscious intention and more. The exercises will create a wonderful toolkit for transformational self-care - to incorporate into your own personal growth and your Therapeutic Touch practice.

Workshop B: November 3rd
Putting the Touch Back Into Therapeutic Touch®
Facilitator: Heather Grace Gurd TE

Touch. The very word is in our moniker. Touch is something that human beings need to thrive yet sometimes we only feel safe at a distance, especially so since the pandemic. Join Heather in an exploration of the power of conscious touch. Glean concepts and tools that facilitate centering, safety, and efficacy through this often revelatory, always transformative, rather intimate act of kindness that is the “Touch” in Therapeutic Touch®. This workshop is for anyone, from the new mother with child to someone holding the hand of a loved one in hospice - and everything in between.

This workshop will be followed by the TT practicum.

The 2024 Conference Committee is thrilled to offer these workshops to our members and non-members of the TTNO and sister networks.  The registration is now available from the website and through the office.  Watch your inbox for more information.
