We had a great day on Tuesday, May 12, 2026! We offered 15-minute Therapeutic Touch sessions to staff at St. Joseph's Hospital. It is our rehab, palliative and transition hospital. We partnered with the SJCG Wellness & Recognition Committee. They did the advertising and recruited staff. It was interesting to note staff often came as a department. Every session was full! Our 5 practitioners were busy! We had people from departments as diverse as finance, food service and maintenance. Twenty-five staff members left feeling relaxed and well cared for. This marks our 10th year at Guelph General Hospital, excluding the pandemic years.  We have continued to serve this community for their Nurses' Week celebrations.  Many familiar faces are happy to see us return, and take an opportunity to indulge in a 'little' self-care.  Here is some of what we heard this year.
