Caledon Spring Fling
To get into the spirit of the TTNO Spring Fling, members of the Caledon branch who were able joined a meditation/drumming circle taking place in the community in honour of the spring equinox. The event was initially organized to raise funds for Bethell Hospice and the drumming was being led by TT member Dale Cimolai. We joined in. It proved to be a wonderful evening for reflective meditation, raising awareness of the power of vibration and community building. Malia C. Ronderos has been on vacation in Mexico. While there, she met with the head of the Oncology Department at the Hospital de la Niñez Oaxaqueña in a small village near the capital city of Oaxaca. Once again the TTNO Peterborough Branch were present at the Fleming College Health Fair, , raising awareness about Therapeutic Touch. The event was held on Thursday Feb. 7th, 2019. On February 28, Alison Cooke spoke to a small gathering of seniors at the Picton Community Care for Seniors offices. A PowerPoint presentation introduced the group to Therapeutic Touch, its benefits and background. Following the presentation, Alison gave a TT treatment to one of the participants.
